We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent to join our tax services team. The ideal candidate will handle IRS representation, tax preparation, and resolution of complex tax matters for individual and business clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including multi-state and international filings.
  • Compile, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable reporting standards.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
  • Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities, deductions, and credits to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Coordinate with the IRS and state tax authorities on audits, notices, and other correspondence on behalf of clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and current guidance.
  • Support clients throughout the year with quarterly estimated tax payments, projections, and proactive planning.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance with privacy and security regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, tax, operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dedication to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
